Star Wars: Rise of SkyWalker Movie Review!!

The Rise of Skywalker is the final chapter of the Skywalker Saga. Since the adventures of Luke, the galaxy is at war with the Empire, later becoming the First Order. In this final installment, Darth Sidious has returned to attempt his ultimate plan of controlling the galaxy. The theme of this film is similar to that of Return of the Jedi. To date, The Rise of Skywalker grossed $1.074 billion dollars. Since the release of this film, the world was introduced to Disney Plus, featuring all Star Wars films including mini-series that will tie the films together such as the Mandalorian and Obi Wan Kenobi.

Sidious transferred his consciousness to a clone body before his destruction on the Second Death Star. Since then, Sidious struggled to bring his cloned body to full power and mobility. Even in his weaken state, the Emperor is able to continue his reign in the First Order through Snoke. His final design was a massive fleet of Sith Destroyers, each with the power to destroy planets like the Death Star and the StarKiller Base. What the Emperor needed most was a way to keep the Sith alive, so he attempted to get Kylo Ren to kill Rey or have Rey kill himself. In either case, the Emperor was attempting to shift his consciousness into a fresh Force sensitive body. Instead, Sidious accidentally discovered the power to absorb the pair’s Force connection to restore his own body and it strengthen his power substantially. Since Palpatine has achieved different forms of survival, why would he allow himself to be taken down by his own power, in the same fashion that scarred him when he battled Mace Windu? Before Palpatine was destroyed by Rey, did he still transfer his consciousness into her as he originally planned to do if she slayed him?

Kylo Ren’s path continues deeper in the dark side. Still desiring to become equal with Vader, his journey brought him face to face with the fallen Emperor. Palpatine insured Ren that his power could be even greater than Vader if he obeyed him, a feat Ren didn’t consider for himself out of respect for his grandfather. Sidious also revealed to Ren that it was he who has been impersonating the spirit Darth Vader, a voice Ren has been following through this entire series. Even though Ren has Sidious in his head, he still wants to take the power for himself and recruit Rey by his side, as the Sith Rule of Two tradition states. During the span of this series, Ren and Snoke didn’t know of the Sith Order or how it should be operated. They only knew of the dark side, and they were the only two at the time wielding the dark force. The death of Leia broke his connection to the dark side, and he used his power to help Rey against Palpatine at the cost of his own life. Ren strived to become Vader’s equal, but he didn’t know he his actions was already running parallel to his grandfather’s path of the dark side. Fans want to know…, why didn’t Ben Solo appear as a Force Spirit with Luke and Leia, like his grandfather did along with Yoda and Ben Kenobi when he returned to the light side of the Force upon his death?

Poe and Finn both have risen within the ranks of the Resistance and their dynamic partnership on missions created a strong friendship. We’ve seen Poe begin as a top fighter pilot, then becoming a General in the Resistance. His success in missions is backed with his super confidence and arrogance. As a Stormtrooper, Finn was trained to be an obedient soldier, but his rising powers within the Force helped him divert from the dark path the Order set for him. In this film we see Finn’s sensitivity to the Force growing to the point of clairvoyance. Will Finn’s character develop even further to the level of Jedi, in possible future film or TV series with Disney Plus?

Rey is training to strengthen her powers within the Force, primarily the art of communion with Jedi spirits of the past. During the course of the film, Rey discovers her ability to heal the injured and instinctively wields Force Lightning. Rey is the granddaughter of Palpatine, a result of Palpatine’s clone escaping confinement and finding love. Now that Leia and Kylo Ren has passed, Rey is now the last Jedi. Before burying Luke and Leia’s lightsaber in the Tatooine desert, she constructed her own saber which represents being a Jedi Sentinel. If the galaxy is now at peace, why would Rey need to construct a new lightsaber? Now that the Skywalker Saga is complete, what new direction will Star Wars take?  What were your thoughts on this film? Morbius Trailer Review!!!

Morbius will be the second villain of SpiderMan to have a solo feature. So far, this looks like Morbius will be a smash hit like 2018 Venom.   The way Marvel has the power of Morbius shown in this trailer, they have its similarities with NightCrawler and Dracula Untold. Jared Leto (Joker in Suicide Squad) will be the man-made vampire, so could this movie lead to the Blade reboot or continue further to a possible sequel?

Apocalypse

Apocalypse is the most powerful mutant and first known mutant on Earth. His origins date back to Egyptian times when the people believed highly in the gods of the universe. His physical appearance alone led his loved ones and society to reject him. His power and strength spread fear throughout the world, making the fearful worship him like a god. Immortality allowed Apocalypse to live through the ages, gain knowledge, battle dark forces like Dracula and even his own kind: The X-Men.

Apocalypse believed only the strongest will survive. After learning of the Mutant X gene from Nathaniel Essex, Apocalypse plans to have mutants replace humankind. Magneto also enforces the idea of mutant superiority but hates the idea of mutant experimentation. Because of his past, Magneto believes experimentation on mutants only leads to slavery or death. Magneto believes that it should be a Brotherhood of Mutants instead of servitude to Apocalypse.

apocalypse

When merging with Celestial technology, Apocalypse far surpasses all mutants. With these tools, Apocalypse believed he was the chosen one to shape civilization. This is similar in the film Stargate. A celestial being merging with a human and attempting to rule over humanity as a God. Apocalypse even created his version of the biblical four horsemen, expanding his godlike disposition over humans and mutants. Were there such celestial beings that existed in ancient history that is responsible for shaping humanity as it is today? Was ancient Egypt the landing site for such beings?

appp

Apocalypse is featured in TVs series such as X-Men and X-Men Evolution. He has also made a small cameo at the end of X-Men Days of Future Past. Apocalypse will make a full appearance in the upcoming film X-Men: Apocalypse. Will this film be the best out of the series? Mystique

Mystique is a master of disguise, because her mutant ability allows her to morph into any human or mutant at will. Mystique often mimics human forms because her blue skin stands out to public ridicule and torment. In addition to her morphing powers, Mystique’s level as an expert hand to hand combatant and covert operative rivals Black Widow, Domino and even Solid Snake in the world of espionage. Mystique is a foe that battles the X-Men on many occasions, primarily alongside her Brotherhood of Mutants, which is led by Magneto.

In the beginning, Mystique used her power to blend into society. While living the lives of various people, Mystique spawned two children. Her first child was Graydon Creed, a result of her fling with Sabretooth. Graydon was born a normal human who later became part of the political parties wanting to eradicate those with the X-Gene. Mystique’s next child was Nightcrawler, a result of her secret affair with Azazel. NightCrawler was also rejected by humans because of his physical appearance. Mystique later adopted Rogue as her own child when Rogue ran away from home at an early age. Rogue and NightCrawler later grew up to be a part of the X-Men, battling their own mother on different occasions…

mystique 5

Mystique made her live movies features with X-Men 1, 2, 3, First Class, Days of Future Past, Apocalypse and Dark Phoenix. The image design for Mystique has changed from the comic book when introduced to the big screen. The smooth blue skinned; white appareled female was replaced with a naked reptilian skinned mutant. This gave Mystique a more abnormal look, putting more emphasis on her mutation. Did the change hurt Mystique’s character profile or did movie producers make an excellent choice?

Justice League

The Justice League is a superhero team similar to The Avengers. Their role is to protect Earth and its citizens from domestic and universal threats while representing peace. Like the Avengers, the Justice League has a huge roster of heroes that makes up its organization. Its founding members start with the three icons: Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman. Then followed by The Flash, Green Lantern, AquaMan and Martian Manhunter which now is replaced by Cyborg.

The Justice League headquarters is a satellite space station that orbits around Earth, keeping the planet under constant surveillance. Equipped with starships and transporters, the Justice League can face threats with immediate response. These technologies are supplied by Batman, which he stands as the tech genius of the team next to Cyborg. How is it that Batman created technology similarly related to the Star Trek Universe?

DC Entertainment has produced multiple animated films and video games of the Justice League. The Wonder Woman film, Man of Steel, Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice and Justice League are huge movies for DC Entertainment, but can these heroes surpass the success of The Avengers??

Comic Multiverse Fan Favorite Artwork of The Justice League goes to DeviantART artist JPRart. Excellent Work! Definitely reminds fans of the Jim Lee version of the X-MEN.

Red Lantern Sith Lords

What if….Atrocitus summoned powerful Sith Lords to join his Red Lantern Corps?! Officers of the Red Lantern Corps mindlessly behave with blind rage under the Red Power Ring. The Sith are trained to use Force Rage to make them strong in the dark side. With this ability, being consciously overtaken by the red ring would have no effect on the Sith. Instead, the ring would amplify their Force abilities and allow them to create red energy constructs unlike the other Corps members. Knowing the betrayal nature of the Sith, Atrocitus programmed their rings to self-destruct in a nuclear explosion, killing the user and any made followers if any attempts on his life were made. Their power rings would also immobilize the Sith if they were to battle one another for any reason. This would keep them in a functional unit among themselves, loyal only to the Corps. With this set-in place, Atrocitus started his quest to enlist Darth Vader, Darth Maul and Darth Malgus to his troops, believing them to be the strongest of the Sith. Artocitus sent power rings to the various points in time where the Sith were in their most rageful moments.

Darth Vader was converted to the Red Lantern Corps by Atrocitus first, preventing any disruption in the Star Wars timeline where the remaining Sith could be obtained. Atrocitus sent the Red Power Ring to Vader after he was placed into his armor and then learning his wife perished by his own hands. Grief stricken, Vader felt hopeless and angered at his inability to protect his family and knowing he had no choice but to be loyal to Sidious. The power ring arrived in this time, hypnotizing Vader with greater promises of power beyond the Force. Through the ring, Atrocitus informed Vader of the Red Lanterns and wielding of cosmic energy could do for him. Vader felt he could use this red energy to bring his wife back and destroy Sidious, claiming rights to the Empire and become ultimate leader of the Sith. Upon hearing this, Sidious tried to summon the ring to himself, only to fail and forcefully watch out of curiosity on what would transpire next.

When Vader accepted the ring, he was unable to turn and kill Sidious for he was instantly transported from the operation chamber and sent on Ysmault in the DC Universe. Once on Ysmault, Vader realized the power ring supplies him with the cosmic energy needed to stay alive instead of the suit’s mechanics. Vader could see in the distance that the ring was drawing its power from the Red Lantern Central Power Battery. The red energy nullified any pain Vader felt from his charred external and internal injuries, thus keeping his focus on the dark side at peak levels. Vader’s use of the dark side in unison with the power ring would allow him to create energy constructs nearly indestructible.

Solo: How Is Darth Maul Alive for This Star Wars Movie? | Vanity Fair

The second power ring traveled to the time period after Darth Maul was defeated by Obi Wan Kenobi. From the reactor shaft on Naboo, Maul’s remains became a part of trash collections to be disposed. The pain from the lightsaber strike and defeat by a Jedi is what fueled Maul’s rage and hatred, keeping him alive during his ordeal. Through the Force, Maul could feel an immense power approaching, unfamiliar to anything he felt before using the dark side. As Maul laid in the trash container on the brink of unconsciousness, the red power ring arrives with promise of great power.

Maul accepted the Red Power Ring with no hesitation, for the ring was his guiding light and the thought of ultimate revenge felt so invigorating. Maul then used the power ring to recreate his lower half into an indestructible construct of red light, capable of withstanding all forms of destruction by any weapon. While Maul’s plans were to immediately hunt down and kill Kenobi, the ring beamed Maul from the trash ship to Ysmault, where Vader was waiting for Atrocitus.

Upon arrival, Vader recognized Maul from his assault on Jedi many years ago on Tatooine as he was leaving with them for Jedi training. In the same moment, Maul could sense that Vader was once the child the Jedi was also safeguarding while he trying to intercept Queen Amidala from their guard. Upon this revelation, the Sith ignited their lightsabers for battle only for their rings to halt any strikes made upon one another, then launching them in opposite directions with violent force. Their stalemate was being observed by Atrocitus in distance space from his power ring. Satisfied with the safeguards he placed upon rings of the Sith, Atrocitus sent the last ring to acquire his next prize…

Is it possible that something similar to 'the Force' in Star Wars exists in the real world? - Quora

Darth Malgus has just been defeated on Alderaan by Jedi Satele Shan. Believed to have been destroyed under the rocky rubble, Darth Malgus in fact used the dark side from being crushed thus saving his life. His defeat channeled great rage where the power ring could pinpoint his location. The ring led the Sith master out of the rubble and to his destiny of great power over the Jedi. Now with the control of the red power ring, Malgus plan was to create duplicate copies of the ring to be used by his forces. With his followers equipped with the red cosmic power, Malgus could defeat the Jedi and bring the Force into total darkness. As ambitious as Malgus was on his mission, the power ring thwarted Malgus plans by teleporting him from his timeline to the awaiting Sith Lords in the DC Universe. Atrocitus felt Malgus was the strongest of the three and appointed him leader of the Sith Lords. The destructive rage of the three Sith Lords together created a massive flow of red energy that could be felt throughout the cosmos. The fear of the Red Lantern Corps rising power attracted the attention of Sinestro and the Yellow Lantern Corps!

With such fear empowerment, Sinestro believed these Sith warriors would be excellent allies to his Corps instead of the Red Lantern Corps. How would he accomplish this? Could Sinestro convince the Sith Lords to leave Atrocitus without risking a conflict? Or is it possible that Sinestro could get the Sith Lords to join the Yellow Corps while they are still recruited to the Red Lanterns? Time is of the essence as the Blackest Nights draws closer. Sinestro decides to wait patiently and keep close observation of the Sith Lords, awaiting his chance to reign absolute.

With the Sith apart of his Lantern Corps, Atrocitus set his sights on the Marvel Universe next. To his surprise, the universe was filled with potential recruits, one in particular he could feel has immense power: The Dark Phoenix! To be continued….

Captain Marvel / Shazam

Billy Batson became a living dream to most lost children, a symbol of hope and powers like a superhero. With the shout of “SHAZAM!!”, Billy transforms into an adult demigod, Captain Marvel / Shazam similar to Goku transforming into an adult as he becomes Super Saiyan 4. As Captain Marvel, Billy aligns himself with the Justice League to fight and protect the planet. Since Captain Marvel is really a young kid, his adult form exhibits adolescent behavior which severs his maximum potential as a hero.

The wizard Shazam imprisoned demons that represent The Seven Deadly Sins of Man, which would plague humanity if unchecked. These seven sins are similar to the ones told among religions of the real world. The sins are believed to be the cause for war, destruction and indifference among people. Anyone appointed to become a part of the Shazam Family is responsible for protecting the Earth from such elements. Black Adam was among the Shazam family until he was corrupted by his power, much like Sinestro..

Superman vs Captain Marvel is a popular crossover battle in the comic universe. With physical power and natural abilities, it’s hard to tell the difference between the two characters in battle. Superman outwits Captain Marvel in battle because of the Captain’s childlike mentality. When their superpowers collide, Captain Marvel dominates Superman. Magic is one of Superman’s weaknesses, which is the main source of Captain Marvel’s superpowers. In DC vs Mortal Kombat ending for Superman, Captain Marvel used knowledge of ancient Krypton to design a costume which repels magical attacks against Superman. Do you think these two characters are strong enough to battle Goku and Vegeta at God levels?

Sabretooth

Unlike the heroics of Wolverine, Sabretooth‘s thirst for blood is that of a wild savage beast. His mutation altered his physical appearance, giving him features of a carnivorous animal. Out of fear from his unstable parents, Sabretooth suffered a cruel and abusive childhood. Because of this, Sabretooth became a mentally unstable, feral beast that kills mercilessly and brutally for personal satisfaction. His acts of serial killings categorized him as one of Marvel Comics most dangerous villains.

Because of his mutation, Sabretooth is an excellent survivalist. His mutant abilities are similar to the predatory animals of the forest. He can survive in subzero temperatures, track down prey items via super enhanced senses: scent and sight, either day or pitch dark.  Just imagine if humans had these animalistic abilities. We could live efficiently in the wilderness without the worries of fire materials to cook, heating, light and sense of location. Let’s not forget, the healing factor would protect against all potential threats against the body internally or externally, giving humans extended lifespans….

Sabretooth made his live appearances in X-Men and X-Men Origins: Wolverine. Many comics fans would agree that Tyler Mane‘s portrayal of Sabretooth was a better choice than Liev Schreiber, mainly due to physical appearance. Sabretooth is known to be physically superior to Wolverine as shown throughout the comics and in the 2000 X-Men film. In X-Men Origins: Wolverine, Sabretooth was overpowered by the adamantium enhanced Wolverine, which brought confusion among comic fans because adamantium always held back Wolverine or Sabretooth’s potential. Which film do you think gave the best portrayal of the feral mutant known as Sabretooth??

Star Wars: The Rise Of SkyWalker

Star Wars is back this holiday season with its final movie of the Star Wars episodes: The Rise of SkyWalker! We see Rey continuing her training without the use of Luke, much like Luke continuing his training in the Force after the loss of both his mentors Obi Wan and Yoda. Not only that, but we also see in this story that Rey will continue her battles with Kylo Ren, who was last seen taking his place as Supreme Leader, after slaying his master Snoke. The real twist that all fans want to know is, how did Palpatine survived his demise on the second Death Star in Return of the Jedi? Does he have cloned bodies made for himself as suggested in comic and video game storylines or will we see a completely new concept on how the Dark Lord is still able to influence the galaxy way past his time. What are your thoughts? Leave your comments below!

The Uncanny X-Men

The X-Men is a super team in the Marvel Universe, the sector of the Marvel Universe where humans are born with a gene mutation that causes supernatural powers. These supernatural powers created fear throughout the world, but for good reason. Mutants such as Magneto, feel mutants should be in control of the Earth because of their powers make them godlike over the humans. The X-Men are protectors of the innocent (human and mutants) against the villainous mutants and the government.

The X-Men was formed by Professor Xavier, who had a dream to help and protect mutants from the world. After years of study, Professor X turned his home into a school where he could teach mutants to control their powers. His combat team is led by Cyclops and Storm, even Wolverine is found in the forefront of them both, for his combat experience exceeds the whole team and the Professor. Jean Grey is the Professor’s right hand for the fact both are both are omega mutant levels and in the event the Professor is incapable to use his powers at hand, Jean is the telepathic backup. Over the years, the X-Men ranks have changed many times like the Avengers, either through new recruits or old members become solo heroes.

The X-Men has accumulated a film series that outranks all comic movies. In this film series, fans can see origins of the team and even individual film stories like Wolverine and Deadpool. Bryan Singer is the director responsible for the majority of the films in the series. Even though the X-Men became very popular on screen, many fans feel that a lot of the cinematic timeline of the series was incorrect and not completely congruent with the blueprints of the comic books. Do you think the X-Men movies need a complete reboot or will a reboot taint the established legacy of characters and the actors that play them like Hugh Jackman as Wolverine?
