Vegeta

Prince Vegeta proudly flaunted the ruthlessness of his race. Under Frieza‘s rule, Vegeta destroyed many planets and killed millions of innocence without mercy. Like most villains, Vegeta has failed at many of his self-serving goals which severed his potential to become greater. Throughout the years, Vegeta has grown stronger in power and slowing letting go of his harsh ways. Eventually settling down and raising a family, Vegeta learned the righteous morals in life. Finally ending his rivalry with Goku, Vegeta has also been able to keep up with him in the god levels of the saiyan. With this new power, Vegeta was able to bring his former master Frieza to his knees in defeat…

Vegeta developed his arrogant attitude from his place in royalty. Believing only the royal bloodline holds the key to greatest power ( saiyan of legend), Vegeta looked down upon lower class saiyan warriors like Goku. Even the low-class may have great strength potential to become as great or greater than royalty. If the Saiyans weren’t divided into social classes, then maybe that race would still exist….

Some fans believe Vegeta’s true potential was with his mastery of the Oozaru stage. Vegeta grew up believing a saiyan could only become super in the Oozaru stage. If this was so, Vegeta would have reached the level of Super Saiyan long ago, if his tail regenerated from his battle on Earth. Since Vegeta lost his tail, he had to learn how to acquire the super saiyan stage in humanoid form. There were many battles Vegeta could have used his great ape form. Instead of using the Final Flash on Cell as a desperate need to win, what if Vegeta transforms into a golden great ape?!

Vegeta was not featured in Dragonball Evolution, to the relief of many fans. Since Vegeta is a master of the Oozaru form, it only stands to reason that correct visuals would have been needed to capture Vegeta in his transformation stage. Is Dragonball Z too complex to become a movie? Should Dragonball Z become a live action movie or a complete CGI movie like Avatar, Final Fantasy or even Beowulf?

Morbius Trailer Review!!!

Morbius will be the second villain of SpiderMan to have a solo feature. So far, this looks like Morbius will be a smash hit like 2018 Venom.   The way Marvel has the power of Morbius shown in this trailer, they have its similarities with NightCrawler and Dracula Untold. Jared Leto (Joker in Suicide Squad) will be the man-made vampire, so could this movie lead to the Blade reboot or continue further to a possible sequel?

Logan

Logan will be the third standalone film for Wolverine in a live action sequence and the 9th movie Hugh Jackman has portrayed the feral mutant. In the X-Men timeline, Wolverine is an old man, no longer living as an active hero like in the comic series. From the preview we see that X-23 is making her first appearance in live action along with Charles Xavier, once again showing his partnership with Wolverine since the first X-Men film. What is exciting about this film is the R rating that fans wanted for such a long time with Wolverine. Will this actually be Hugh Jackman’s last performance as Logan?

Goku

Goku is the greatest hero in the universe, arguably because he has sacrificed himself many times for his family and friends, but also defeating villains who are considered the worst in the cosmos. Fans across the world have argued on this topic, even debating on who would win in a matchup between Goku and Superman. No match is greater than his battles with his once rival and now friend Vegeta. With the power of Vegeta, Goku can become new warriors: Gogeta and Vegito. Which battle of Goku was your favorite? Goku mastered most of the saiyan forms, except for his Oozaru form and has never achieved the Legendary status. Goku would be considered the first saiyan to reach the super saiyan levels without transforming into the Oozaru form, as described in the legendary super saiyan story. Now with his new training, Goku has reached the levels of the Gods. Will this replace the super saiyan 4 level?

Goku always strive to become the best fighter possible. This is one key to his success, not only in a fictional standpoint, but in a realistic viewpoint for us as well. For instance, in the world of health and fitness. Goku’s saiyan heritage allow him to train his body well beyond his limits. Doing several thousand reps of sit ups and pushups under heavy gravity, eating enormous amounts of food and heavy sleeping to nourish and replenish his body. If we were dedicated enough to health and fitness in a similar fashion as Goku, would we push our life expectancy even further to the point of possible immortality?

Goku has come from the comic book to television cartoons, thanks to his creator Akira Toriyama. Some comic fans can agree that Akira can be ranked among the top comic book story writers like Stan Lee or Bob Kane. What’s unique about Goku is that the entire series of Dragonball, Dragonball Z, Dragonball Super to Dragonball GT is about his story. Sadly, but very disappointing, fans weren’t able to see their hero in a correct format. Who really enjoyed the live action display: Dragonball Evolution? Are movie producers’ real fans of such works or was it a failure to have American movie producers create a movie from a Japanese franchise? What could be the best style for a live action film of Dragonball Z? An all CGI movie or real people? Fans around the world must wait for the ” perfect ” Dragonball Z film to hit the big screen, but for how long?..

Green Lantern: Hal Jordan

Hal Jordan is the first human to become a part of the Green Lantern Corps. Hal Jordan then became one of the greatest Green Lanterns next to Sinestro, who later became his biggest rival. Hal Jordan is also a member of the famous super team the Justice League. The Green Lantern Corps is similar to the Nova Corps of Marvel Comics, for both groups are police force militia created to protect life in the universe. Which Corps do you think is greater between the two?Hal Jordan was worthy of the Green Lantern ring because of his willpower and fearlessness. These qualities helped him overcome his father’s death to become an excellent pilot in the Air Force himself. Fighter Pilots in today’s world would also need such willpower to overcome fear in combat situations. The fear of heights, high speeds, and even the possibility of death during missions.

Those who experience success in any field can be compared to the concept of a Green Lantern officer. Willing a dream into existence takes concentrated focus and overcoming the fear of failure. Look around in our daily lives. Everything is an idea ranging from one individual to several. For instance, a vehicle, bridge, or whichever device used to read THIS blog post, is a physical construct of a designer’s imagination. His or her willpower is needed to take action to make the idea come to fruition. The officer of the Green Lantern Corps must keep his or her concentration at peak performance so that the energy constructs of the power ring will remain strong and unbreakable…The Green Lantern transitioned from the comic books to different media. This includes the crossover video game: Mortal Kombat vs DC Universe, the cartoon: Green Lantern the Animated Series, and animated films such as Green Lantern First Flight. Do you think the live action movie was a success? The film gave comic fans fantastic CGI visuals of the character’s powers at play, but was the actor Ryan Reynolds a good choice? Let’s consider Ryan has played in four Marvel Comic films: X-MEN Origins WolverineBlade Trinity, Deadpool 1 and 2. Will Ryan’s comedic style fit in with the newly established dark theme DC Comics has brought to the movie screen?

Wonder Woman 1984 Movie Review!!!!

Wonder Woman 1984 released Christmas of 2020 in theatres and streamed on HBOMax. WW84 had multiple release delays because of the COVID-19 pandemic, causing the film to generate $154.6 million, below the budget of $200 million. WW84 takes place in 1984, where Diana works in an antique museum as we see her in Justice League but in 1984 she is stationed in Washington D.C. The Dream Stone makes its way to the museum, creating chaos that Wonder Woman must bring to order. What type of power do you think the Infinity Gauntlet would have if the Dream Stone was apart of the stone settings?

While in presence of the Dream Stone, Diana inadvertently wished to be with Steve Trevor again. His spirit returned, embodied inside another man. Despite this, Diana could recognize Steve as if he were in his original form. During their reunion, Diana made a successful attempt to shield a stolen fighter jet from radar, an art she learned from her father. With this cinematic perspective, comic fans understand that Wonder Woman could render any object invisible, instead of the belief Amazons had the technology to create invisible warcrafts. Diana’s inadvertent wish came with the negative effect of taking away her powers. After renouncing her wish, she gained back her powers, thus losing Trevor indefinitely. Flight became a new addition during Diana’s power restoration, a feat she had yet to display on film.

Until this film, we’ve seen Diana’s areal feat as extended leaps, similar to The Hulk in various films or Faroa in Man of Steel. In WW84 we also see Diana use the Lasso of Truth as a grappling hook to jettison into the air or stream along lightning currents in the higher altitudes. Does Diana gain a new level of power each time she is restored from depletion? Can we get a crossover cinematic visual of Wonder Woman traveling to Asgard to offer an alliance with Themiscyra, merging Greek and Norse Mythology? What about Diana’s attempt to wield Mjölnir? With her warrior’s might and Asteria’s armor , do you think Diana could lead the Valkyrie?

Pedro Pascal, actor as the Mandalorian, plays Max Lord in WW84. His life is filled with ambition with minimal success in business and personal life. This causes disorder when he wished to be the Dream Stone in the flesh. Max Lord’s character seemed focused on the fundamentals of the Law of Attraction and how greed among humans have devastating consequences on many levels. Was the power of wishes and dreams the theme of the movie? Is there a negative effect when we have positive dreams for ourselves?

WW84 presented Diana’s next foe, the feline humanoid Cheetah. Barbara gained her animalistic powers from the Dream Stone, after replacing her first wish of wanting to be like Diana. This is different from the comic blueprint where Barbara gained her powers from Urzkartaga. Its assumed that Barbara renounced her wish, but did she? It appears that Max Lord renounced his wish of being the Dream Stone before Barbara could renounce her wish. Because of this, is it possible her powers remained but can only return at night like Werewolf by Night? Will there be another film to bridge the time of 1984 to 2016 when the Trinity battled Doomsday? What were your thoughts on this film? Leave your comments below and check out SlideShow Collectibles for WW84 memorabilia!!!

The Uncanny X-Men

The X-Men is a super team in the Marvel Universe, the sector of the Marvel Universe where humans are born with a gene mutation that causes supernatural powers. These supernatural powers created fear throughout the world, but for good reason. Mutants such as Magneto, feel mutants should be in control of the Earth because of their powers make them godlike over the humans. The X-Men are protectors of the innocent (human and mutants) against the villainous mutants and the government.

The X-Men was formed by Professor Xavier, who had a dream to help and protect mutants from the world. After years of study, Professor X turned his home into a school where he could teach mutants to control their powers. His combat team is led by Cyclops and Storm, even Wolverine is found in the forefront of them both, for his combat experience exceeds the whole team and the Professor. Jean Grey is the Professor’s right hand for the fact both are both are omega mutant levels and in the event the Professor is incapable to use his powers at hand, Jean is the telepathic backup. Over the years, the X-Men ranks have changed many times like the Avengers, either through new recruits or old members become solo heroes.

The X-Men has accumulated a film series that outranks all comic movies. In this film series, fans can see origins of the team and even individual film stories like Wolverine and Deadpool. Bryan Singer is the director responsible for the majority of the films in the series. Even though the X-Men became very popular on screen, many fans feel that a lot of the cinematic timeline of the series was incorrect and not completely congruent with the blueprints of the comic books. Do you think the X-Men movies need a complete reboot or will a reboot taint the established legacy of characters and the actors that play them like Hugh Jackman as Wolverine?

Apocalypse

Apocalypse is the most powerful mutant and first known mutant on Earth. His origins date back to Egyptian times when the people believed highly in the gods of the universe. His physical appearance alone led his loved ones and society to reject him. His power and strength spread fear throughout the world, making the fearful worship him like a god. Immortality allowed Apocalypse to live through the ages, gain knowledge, battle dark forces like Dracula and even his own kind: The X-Men.

Apocalypse believed only the strongest will survive. After learning of the Mutant X gene from Nathaniel Essex, Apocalypse plans to have mutants replace humankind. Magneto also enforces the idea of mutant superiority but hates the idea of mutant experimentation. Because of his past, Magneto believes experimentation on mutants only leads to slavery or death. Magneto believes that it should be a Brotherhood of Mutants instead of servitude to Apocalypse.

apocalypse

When merging with Celestial technology, Apocalypse far surpasses all mutants. With these tools, Apocalypse believed he was the chosen one to shape civilization. This is similar in the film Stargate. A celestial being merging with a human and attempting to rule over humanity as a God. Apocalypse even created his version of the biblical four horsemen, expanding his godlike disposition over humans and mutants. Were there such celestial beings that existed in ancient history that is responsible for shaping humanity as it is today? Was ancient Egypt the landing site for such beings?

appp

Apocalypse is featured in TVs series such as X-Men and X-Men Evolution. He has also made a small cameo at the end of X-Men Days of Future Past. Apocalypse will make a full appearance in the upcoming film X-Men: Apocalypse. Will this film be the best out of the series? Red Skull

The Red Skull is a result of a troubled childhood, among the worst in Marvel Comics. Before being known as the Red Skull, Johann Shmidt was nearly killed by his father, who constantly abused his mother. Johann later became a runaway orphan at the age of 7 living on the streets. He grew up desiring to take over the world, an ideal which was from while a protge to Adolf Hitler. The Red Skull became the embodiment of Nazi intimidation, in turn making him the #1 enemy to Captain America.

One of Red Skull’s interest was advanced weaponry, which was created by Hitler’s special scientists. These weapons where used in Red Skull’s ruthless rampage through Europe. His growing force of evil even created fear in Hitler. During this time, a mutant weapon was located in the Nazi prison camps by the name of Erik Lehnsherr. If the Red Skull was aware of young Lehnsherr earlier, would there have been a Magneto?

Red Skull has made cameos on television shows such as Avengers: Earth’s Mightiest Heroes and Spiderman. The Red Skull was brought to a live action sequence in Captain America: The First Avenger, portrayed by Hugo Weaving. Did Marvel Studios hit the mark with this live character? Will the Red Skull be later revived in the Infinity War Movies Series of Avengers?

Spiderman

Spiderman is one of the most popular characters created in the Marvel Universe. Because of his popularity, it stands to reason for Spiderman to have a great number of villains to oppose him, much like Batman. Is this the reason Spiderman and Batman makes a great crossover story?  Spiderman is among a list of characters who acquired powers through a scientific accident. And, if you want to stay updated on the latest entertainment and pop culture news, you might want to navigate to these guys for the freshest scoop on your favorite fandom.

“I’m your friendly neighborhood Spiderman!”

The slogan is true to its meaning. New York City is the central home for most Marvel characters. Spiderman fights crime alone but he has on occasions, fought alongside of the Avengers and the X-Men. Any mission Spiderman requires either team is when the Earth as a whole is threaten.

Over the years, Spiderman has acquired multiple uniforms. Other than his original costume, fans began to favor the costume made by Tony Stark and the symbiote costume. Both uniforms are to enhance Spiderman’s superhuman abilities. Which uniform do you believe to be the best for Spiderman?

Spiderman is one of the few characters to have a plethora of comic stories, television series then live action appearances. Like the Hulk, Spiderman became upgraded with the reboot movie: The Amazing Spiderman 1 and 2. Are reboots really necessary if fans get what they want the first time around? So far, which was your favorite Spiderman film?
