AquaMan featured in his first live film with the Justice League and now will he will have his own solo film this coming December. The DC cinematic universe differs from the MCU because the MCU had a plan to make the Avengers in the past and felt best to make solo films of the prominent members before making the big feature film. This film is filled with CGI much like Avatar but comic fans feel this movie will make a big début. If the solo films of DC Comics continue to succeed, will there be another Justice League film? After teasers from HBOMax, the Mortal Kombat trailer has finally dropped!!! This film is highly anticipated because of the failure of the first two films back in the 90s. With the cinema technology of this time, producers will have this one in correct format. From what we see in the trailer concerning the plot of the film, this film is based around the ancient war between Sub-Zero and Scorpion. Do you think this film may produce sequels??

Deadpool is back at it again, this time with much more action!!

It was surprising the first time around for Deadpool to produce big numbers from its small budge. Now with the full attention of comic fans around the world, Deadpool 2 will become a huge hit for the character once again, maybe even bigger! Reports even suggest that since Disney acquired more rights to the Marvel characters, it could be possible that Deadpool could run into many other of his Marvel counterparts himself! It seems Deadpool is on the same mission to protect mutants but this time he will have Cable to content with. A Will Deadpool battle then become partners with the futuristic mercenary? What’s interesting about Cable is that he is portrayed by Josh Brolin, who also is playing Thanos in the Avengers: Infinity War!!! Deadpool begins his mission on May 18th 2018!! Finally, DC Comics is catching up to Marvel Studios with their super team The Justice League! This film is following up to the 2016 Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice where Bruce and Diana are searching for the meta humans found in Lex Luthor computer files. Bruce believes he could form a team to help defend Earth against an upcoming galactic threat ( Darkseid). So far, we see Cyborg, The Flash and Aquaman working alongside Batman and Wonder Woman battling Parademons, who seem to be on a mission to collect Mother Boxes on Earth. It is rumored that Superman will return even though we haven’t seen him in this trailer. Will Green Lantern make an appearance in this film, or will there be another film that will present him? These questions will be answered this upcoming November when the film is release. With the special effects and action-packed sequences seen in this trailer, The Justice League may give the Avengers a run for their money in the box office! We’ll see in 7 more months!!

The saga continues this Christmas with Star Wars Episode 8: The Last Jedi. At the ending of Episode 7, Rey delivers Anakin’s lightsaber to Luke, who seemed surprised that the lightsaber made its way back to him. In this film you can see Rey going through her lightsaber training and the influence she has on the Force with the rising rocks. Kylo Ren continued his training as well, after surviving his near death experience by Rey. Where are his strength levels within the Force and will get a deeper insight on his master Supreme Leader Snoke? We can see Finn still on his path of healing and Poe side by side with his droid BB-8. Not much is revealed in this trailer which means there will be plenty of surprises to come. Many fans would say the The Force Awakens has lots of elements of A New Hope. So will the Last Jedi pick elements from The Empire Strikes Back? If so this could be an interesting film but what is shocking is hearing Luke in the narrative saying the Jedi must end. What does this mean?? In December we will get our answer…

Ryan Reynolds is finally back again as Deadpool for the third time. This time Deadpool will be joined by Hugh Jackman, returning as the iconic Wolverine. The two characters battled each other in the film X-Men Origins: Wolverine, were the depiction of Deadpool was very different than what we have received from Deadpool’s last two films. In this film its rumored that we will have the return of special characters that we have seen in Marvel films before, thus prompting the Secret Wars. Will this be Marvel’s ultimate film next to Endgame and Infinity War? Stay tuned for the release of Deadpool and Wolverine on July 26th 2024!

This classic match up has finally arrived at the big screen once again! The first match up took place in back in 1962, now that technology has transformed in cinema, this classic battle will be exciting to see in digital format. From the trailer it appears that the humans have successfully captured Kong, following the last encounter with the giant ape 29 years after WW2. Godzilla was last seen assisting Earth’s forces against ancient monsters, but this time, we can see Godzilla attacking his allies and Kong is there to stop him. What side are you on when this battle begins? Godzilla vs Kong will release on March 26, 2021, in theatres and stream on HBOMax.

Comic fans have been waiting on this!!!

Venom 2018 is to be the first film where the villain is the main character and possibly becoming an anti-hero as suggested in the comics. We see Eddie Brock as a reporter in San Francisco, questioning the integrity of the infamous Life Foundation. It seems that the Foundation is in possession of multiple symbiotes and somewhat figured out its functions. The trailer exposes a female host, could this possibly be Scream? So if Venom is main character to this film, will we have Carnage as well? Since this film is with Sony Pictures and a standalone film, Venom will not be related to the MCU nor will he have any run ins with Spiderman. What do you think so far? Will this film become big enough to get a movie series or will it fall short after its first release??

Morbius will be the second villain of SpiderMan to have a solo feature. So far, this looks like Morbius will be a smash hit like 2018 Venom.   The way Marvel has the power of Morbius shown in this trailer, they have its similarities with NightCrawler and Dracula Untold. Jared Leto (Joker in Suicide Squad) will be the man-made vampire, so could this movie lead to the Blade reboot or continue further to a possible sequel?
