Before becoming the Silver Surfer, Norin Radd was like many adventurers with the desire to attain knowledge and explore the unknown. Do you think it was a blessing or a curse to become a herald to Galactus? Norin’s eagerness for knowledge and exploration ultimately manifested into the opportunity for him to travel the cosmos and discover its secrets. On the other hand, Norin is to travel the cosmos for eternity. He will live pass the lifetimes of all companions he encounters through time. Silver Surfer will suffer eternal loneliness.

The Fantastic Four defeated Galactus, preventing him from consuming the planet. It was the Surfer who brought Galactus to Earth. After encountering the Fantastic Four, Norin became an agent of good, believing his powers can be used for protection instead for assisting destruction just like the super team. The Silver Surfer’s separation from Galactus is similar to Spawn breaking from his servitude to Malebolgia. The difference between the two free agents is that the Surfer became a pure hearted hero as Spawn brought about justice in dark evil methods.

Since Silver Surfer has the power cosmic at his disposal, his power level has brought interest to many crossover battles. Such battles can be seen between the Green Lantern and Thor. The reason for these match ups is because the Green Lantern and Thor also wield powers which originate from universal entities. Silver Surfer has even caught the attention of villains who want to control his power such as Thanos and Dr. Doom. Even though both villains failed in complete control, this shows that the Surfer or his powers is not completely invulnerable to manipulation.

The Silver Surfer was first introduced to the Marvel Universe through the Fantastic Four comics. After this success, The Surfer’s own adventures then became a successful comic series. The Surfer was also featured in the Rise of the Silver Surfer, the second movie of the Fantastic Four. Will the Silver Surfer also receive a solo film? If the upcoming Infinity War movies are actually stemming from the Infinity Gauntlet storyline, then Silver Surfer will need to make his return to the movie screen for he plays a major role in the comic stories…

Daredevil is among the vigilantes in the Marvel Universe who’s path to protect the innocent, stemmed from an early traumatic experience. Daredevil’s mental strength and determination comes from his faith within the Roman Catholic Church. Taking on the underworld as a blind crime fighter, means having a strong and fearless mentality. Mixing this with his enhanced abilities, Matt became the living meaning of the word daredevil. As a daytime lawyer, Daredevil can stay connected to the crime world at a great degree. Daredevil chose the symbol of the Devil to help leave a fearful impression on injustice in Hell’s Kitchen. Is Matt Murdock in a constant state of moral confliction, when masking himself as a devil, and being a strong believer in the Catholic faith?

Despite being blind, Daredevil’s training over his remaining four hyper senses allows him to have full body and sensory control. He can do acrobatic feats like Spiderman, with perfect balance and equilibrium. What makes Spiderman better is that his agility is heighten because of his superpowers. With enhanced sense of smell and hearing, Daredevil’s abilities is similar to Wolverine‘s when locating criminals. The difference is, Wolverine’s senses are more animalistic in nature due to his mutation, which makes him completely superior when tracking down targets, especially at great distances.

Daredevil has come to life with the 2003 live action movie. Also, Netflix has created an original series of the character’s beginning in crime fighting. As for the film, casting for characters have received negative views from comic fans. Many feel Ben Affleck is not a perfect choice for a superhero role. What do you think? Emma Frost is one of many mutants who has used their powers for personal gain in the world.  Emma Frost used her powers to make herself wealthy and successful in every area she found interest. Now just think, how many people in the world would do the same as Emma Frost? What would you do? Her beauty and abilities attracted the attention of the X-Men and the Inner Circle of the Hellfire Club. Emma was invited to the X-Men to help understand her power and to protect humans and mutants as a hero. As a member of the Inner Circle, Emma’s powers are utilized as instruments to influence the higher society that controls the world. This is the reason why there is debate that Emma is a hero or villain.

Emma Frost underwent a second mutation, her diamond form. In this form, Emma can only be destroyed with a diamond bullet. When not in diamond form, Emma is a powerful telepath on par with Xavier and Jean Grey. Emma and Jean Grey have tension with each other because both are Omega Level telepaths that fell in love with Cyclops. Not only that both females became worthy hosts to the Phoenix Force.

Emma Frost has come to the movie screen in the movies X-Men Origins: Wolverine and X-Men First Class. Even though her abilities and powers were displayed with unique style and imagery, her timeline was far off. In X-Men Origins: Wolverine, Emma was a young teenager escaping Stryker’s island with an older Professor Xavier (not to mention Xavier is not disabled). In The First Class, Emma was an older woman, battling younger Charles Xavier and younger Eric Lehnsherr. Did movie producers not realize the mistake in Emma Frost movie timeline?

Carol Danvers was born of Earth and the Kree, a technologically advanced race of beings that are military based, and the Kree have used their might to conquer planets to form their Empire. The Kree’s military function reminds comic fans of Frieza and his military might in the DBZ Universe. Carol has a large array of superpowers that make her one of the most powerful female heroines in the universe.

Carol is a part of the team called the StarForce, a military team that protects the Kree Empire. This strike force is similar to the Nova Corps and the Green Lantern Corps. Hal Jordan, Carol Danvers and Richard Rider are humans that were chosen to become a part of their cosmic military factions. Hal and Richard were chosen by their predecessor because they were near death and a replacement was needed. Since Carol is half Kree, it was easy to have her powers developed with Kree technology. Hal and Carol share a common background as Air Force pilots, while Richard was a common citizen of Earth. The Nova Force is similar to the Central Power Battery on Oa , where power is administered to all soldiers who fight for the Corps. Later through time, Richard became the host to the entire Nova Force thus giving him the ability of the Xandarian Worldmind, which is very similar to the Supreme Intelligence of the Kree Empire. The main weakness between the three characters is their mental stability and focus. If for any reason these two aspects become compromised, the wielder of power has a great chance of becoming defeated. Among the three, who do you think is the strongest to weakest?

The name Captain Marvel originated from Mar-Vell, a male Kree warrior who closely resembled humans on Earth instead of the blue skinned Kree. The Kree Empire and Carol had two major run-ins with the X-Men. The Kree and the Shi’ar developed a peace accord with themselves to help take on the threat of the Dark Phoenix during her rise in the universe. Before Carol was known as Captain Marvel, she went by Ms. Marvel. At this time, Carol battled with Rogue of the X-Men. Rogue absorbed much of Carol’s cosmic powers. Super strength, flight, durability, and even immortality became a permanent part of Rogues powers, where usually any power Rogue acquires is temporary.

Marvel Studios cast Brie Larson to be Captain Marvel. In the cinematic timeline, The Avengers battled Thanos through his process in collecting the Infinity Stones to no avail. Many comic fans have wondered who is the new hero that Nick Fury has called for, and will this hero ultimately save the universe. Yoda is introduced on film as an old creature, training Luke in the ways of the Force. Yoda is notably popular among the Star Wars franchise for his wisdom and backwards speech. As the Star Wars Universe expanded, its revealed that Yoda was once the Grand Master of the Jedi Council, the ruling body of the Jedi Order. Yoda has trained thousands of Jedi throughout his lifetime and even inadvertently caused the destruction of his legacy by allowing Anakin Skywalker to become a Jedi.

Yoda has taught many lessons about the universe, one being to overcome the fear of lost. Fear leads to the dark side of the force and fear also destroys potential, possibilities, and positive things to happen in one’s life. Yoda taught that embracing change and courage will bring balance to oneself, which also allows the Force to continue its natural flow through all living beings. The law of attraction, which is explained in the documentary The Secret, is similar to the Force and the esoteric mentality of the Jedi. What we bring into our lives is the outer manifestation of our inner thoughts, whether good or bad. In the end, we all are connected within the universe by energy or the Force…..

Is it possible that Yoda could become a Green Lantern officer or even a guardian? Yoda exiled himself during the Jedi Purge to continue his Jedi training. With training, Yoda is able to achieve immortality by preserving his consciousness and becoming an astral form of the Force. Many comic fans would agree that Jedi would embody the Blue and Green Lantern Corps because of their pure nature within the Force and their mission to protect the universe against evil ( dark side/ Sith). If Yoda became a Guardian of the Universe, his powers would increase tenfold and even create an improved Jedi Order that would closely resemble the Lantern corps of today…

Spiderman is one of the most popular characters created in the Marvel Universe. Because of his popularity, it stands to reason for Spiderman to have a great number of villains to oppose him, much like Batman. Is this the reason Spiderman and Batman makes a great crossover story?  Spiderman is among a list of characters who acquired powers through a scientific accident. The slogan is true to its meaning. New York City is the central home for most Marvel characters. Spiderman fights crime alone but he has on occasions, fought alongside of the Avengers and the X-Men. Any mission Spiderman requires either team is when the Earth as a whole is threaten.

Over the years, Spiderman has acquired multiple uniforms. Other than his original costume, fans began to favor the costume made by Tony Stark and the symbiote costume. Both uniforms are to enhance Spiderman’s superhuman abilities. Which uniform do you believe to be the best for Spiderman?
